  1. Max Skilling Guide

    Complete Guide to Max Skilling I'm not going to bore you with excessive details, skill rates, pictures etc. This guide will give you an efficient way to 99 every non-combat skill in order to get that Max Cape. This guide's based on NO BONUS XP RATES*. I will include Bonus XP from both Voting and DXP Weekend, but the foundation of each guide is made on the assumption of no bonuses for mathematical and argument sake. This guide also assumes you have no 99's and pairs skills together for the most efficient Overall 99. *Runecrafting is the only guide that assumes Voting XP bonus = true **Numbers in white assume no bonus xp, numbers in green assume Voting XP (based off mathematics), numbers in orange assume both Voting XP AND Double XP Weekend (based off mathematics). We will be utilizing the teleports found under the "Skilling" tab, unless otherwise stated. Use Ctrl + F to quick-find information if needed. Thieving Agility Woodcutting Firemaking Fletching Mining Smithing Crafting Fishing Cooking Hunter Farming Herblore Runecrafting Construction Unfortunately at this time, I have no efficient or "decent" way to gain Construction Experience. I'm going to try and put work into one in the near future, but at this present moment I don't have the $$$ to throw into Construction to find xp rates that are worth using. @Rager Does have a Construction guide, ::thread 24889. I personally feel using Antique Lamps is the fastest and most efficient way to level Construction, and the xp rates for Lamps can be found below. Antique Lamps No XP Bonuses: 225,000 Experience Vote XP Bonus: 675,000 Experience Vote + Weekend XP Bonus: 1,125,000 Experience I'm maxed, what's next? After maxing, you can return to normal game play such as Bossing, Slayer, Pk'ing etc. OR you can now start your road to becoming a Completionist. @Zander has an amazing Completionist guide, which can be found by using ::thread 27706 He also has a skilling pet guide, which can be found by using ::thread 29019 Hopefully this guide was able to be of use. It definitely took a hot minute to make, but I feel like it was worth it in the end. I'll be doing more edits and revisions, and adding more info and possibly pictures if requested over the next few days. I started to get sick out of the blue today and it only got worst throughout the day, so writing this guide literally took all day to do. So once my head is cleared up and capable of thinking without a headache, I'll be gathering and inputting missing data and double checking VXP/DXP rates. I'll also try and get construction rates once Beta server comes back up if I'm permitted access from staff to do so. If anyone finds any errors, mistakes, or miscalculations in my data, please leave a comment below and I'll be sure to correct it as soon as I can.     No and I’ll give you a few reasons why 1. Because there’d be nothing stopping you from changing to a regular account after reset in order to sell your “kept” items, unless developers put code in to prevent this which would make even more work to do on top of trying to implement this if they did go that direction. Which also then brings up the point that not everyone likes to stay an Iron or uim after they’ve established their account or have gotten certain drops so having to implement that feature would also remove this option (and you wouldn’t even be able to disable it for x amount of time because the items that were kept should not be in the trading economy) 2. A lot of players drop trade extra items to their mains bc they don’t need them so why keep an abundance (and this is especially true for UIM who have no bank access, so it seems unfair that any drops they can’t use they have to lose forever just because you disabled drop trades). 3. After a reset, this would give an unfair advantage because while everyone is out trying to grind for starting gear and decent setups, you already have yours from previous reset so you could go kill top-tier bosses while everyone’s still trying to do Barrows/Godwars etc. 4. There’d be no way to track any items or cash that were kept using this method in the eco (meaning staff would have to look at logs pre-reset if they had to find where you got said item from if they ever needed to, which is quite a hassle considering the logs are quite a headache) 5. Everyone else loses their items, I don’t see why you should be so special. Just because regular accounts can “buy/sell” doesn’t mean everyone does. That doesn’t mean we didn’t grind 2-3k kills for a specific drop just like you did. It just allows us an additional means of obtaining items that we need, but doesn’t really give you a drastic reason to be different.

    I can confirm the wildy rss doubles count towards achievement. Even if you have 1 inv spot left, and it doubles, you won’t get the second/doubled item but it will still count towards the achievement (it gives you an error code but it still counts it) also agreed on wiki, it’s a pain in the ass to keep updated and I’ve offered to start editing it again but no one has responded to that so nothing I can do. Same at barrows, but I only go there for sets. I don’t remember the amount the runes drop in but death and blood do sell for a pretty penny at gen shop.

    Wildy rss area has double drops quite frequently, hence the 6 hour claim. Even tho it takes 19s to mine one ore, you have a chance to get 2 ore from it which happens very often. I believe Mithril Grapple location is on the Wiki (or at least for Arma boss) so the information is easily available, but even if it was in the gen shop players would still ask cause 99% of them don’t look before asking. With barrows, I’m not 100% sure on bwhip drop but I believe that and Amulet of Damned are 1/100. But the thing with your suggestion is, for new players it might be a decent idea but for exp players or anyone who isn’t brand new, getting barrows sets for pk where you’ll need 20+ of them would get even more boring some bc there’s now drops that have no relevance to them. I believe they drop a cash stack already, but honestly I think they’re fine aside from maybe double checking the drop table coding to make sure all pieces are the same rates because it feels like they aren’t. Mans like I said with high scores, most of those I’d say aren’t lamped exp’s. Most of them are probably from the daily quest bug. But quite a few people still look at them and compete over them, hence why I said “stupid idea”. The reasoning you listed is a valid point, but I wouldn’t classify it as “sound reasoning”. Lamps are tradeable and ingame for a reason, and I feel no need to remove high scores because people are using lamps to help boost their skills or exp levels. This was on my phone hence why I went out of order compared to my previous post lol

    It's a 1/1 drop from Armoured Zombies found in Ancient Caverns (I believe that's the correct teleport), while adding to Gen Shop would be easier, there is an active and easy way to obtain one. Barrows drops a 'Barrows Whip' which is the 3rd best whip ingame, at a 1/100 drop rate (even lower with row, items, and di). As for adding other drops, most of the gear listed (d'hide, neitiznot, mystic etc) is in the ::shops, and it's already tedious enough to get a full set now as you'll get tons of one specific piece, but not the rest. So adding anything could make getting an initial set, as well as return sets even more difficult. Disagreed. Comp is meant to be a grind and shouldnt be as quick and simple as Maxing. I don't think Rune Ore is as slow as you stated, while it does take awhile you can probably knock out the 2k mining/1k smelting within 4-6 hours at the Wilderness Resource Area (and I've never been bothered there even after skilling for a few hours). But for BiS cape, it's well worth the grind no matter how big or small the player base is. The only issue with Comp rn is the PK'ing achievements, as getting 100 kills/Lv 10 Emblem can be rather difficult given the lack of players in the wilderness who aren't in clans. While yes, you could kill PvM'ers, there's very few of them. The only ones at ::revs usually are those in a clan, which usually travel in 2-3 at the minimum. But even with the lack of wilderness activity, this achievement can still be done relatively quickly over the course of a few weeks via PK'ing events, Edge fighting, and by joining a clan (even if only temporary). Highly inaccurate. Lamps do not give much experience. With Double XP & Voting Bonus it's around 2mil or so per lamp. It would take 10 lamps during DXP weekend just to get 20mil xp, which assuming lamps are 15m each, that's 150m cash just for 20m xp. While there's probably a decent amount of lamp xp (or Dragonkin/Effiegy xp), it's probably safe to say a lot of the current xp is from the Daily Bug when it was around and abuseable (where you could continuously complete your daily quest to gain the bonus xp for that skill) as I'm sure a few used this to achieve their 2bil's or a high xp region I'm sure. But to remove them entirely I think is a stupid idea, especially because it allows for NPC/Boss highscores to eventually be added should that move ever take place, which I hope it does.

    Nice, seems I’m not the only one with Jungle luck. Pet, 2 hex and shield by 120kc but Deserts are dry asf for me (guess that’s why they’re a desert strike)

    Honestly, I'm 99% sure that blowpipe and limes would still be overpowering compared to Cele / Kodai even after they're buffed (if they were to be buffed theoretically speaking) so why not? Mage is a lot weaker than ranged and even mage (except for wilderness/pvp) so it should be buffed at least a tiny bit, and the best way to do that is via weapons and we have the perfect opportunity. Don't see how buffing Cele and Kodai would turn Kodai into a ray gun, we're not asking for speed enhancements just stats/accuracy.

    I’d say keep them nrgp only so staff don’t have to mm (and make it a tradeable item unlike pins) bc players can still buy and sell pins, so if some1 needs to get nrgp but they have osgp. They can just buy / sell pins in order to buy a bond

    Other servers have systems similar / identical to this, and having universal ranks regardless of how you got your credits (whether donating with $$$ or obtaining via ingame / runescape cash) so I see no reason to make separate ranks or islands. Rdi / LDI could get crowded, but at the same time Di and Die is also crowded at times too. +1 for this idea

    Why? For a BiS cape, why have 5+ different ways to obtain? Death cape only has 1 (to my knowledge, not sure if Bandos Ava or Gano drops it) so I don’t see why adding Infernal to another table would be necessary aside from making it easier to obtain / less of a grind, which is what donating is for. For a cape that’s not only BiS when combined with Comp, kept on death, the rarity and how hard it is to obtain is 100% accurate imo. Also, opposed to making tradeable bc it should be a grind/accomplishment imo and making it tradeable defeats that purpose.
