Deg Armor & Weapons / Item Sink

Default Deg Armor & Weapons / Item Sink - Monday 30th September, 2019, 22:33

Three-part concept:

1. Reintroduce (deg) armor and weapons as in-game drops from PKing.

1 (a). Perhaps make them non-tradeable? Idk if I like this though. Depends if and when Nex armor/weps are reintroduced.

2. Make the (deg) armor 10-25% stronger (or whatever may be reasonable), and make it actually degrade after X amount of time, ticks, or hits.

3. Make (deg) armor/weps rechargeable by using one or more of the non-deg armor/wep on the (deg) item.

We now have (deg) items back in the game, and a nice item sink.

Nowhere did I say or suggest this. I only said break on time, hits, or ticks; but if you're suggesting they shouldn't break on death, sure I agree.

That's how degradable armour works.

the point of deg is that its not loss on death when in ur inv -1 for the part of making it stronger, too op, make deg peices a 1 in 2000-4000 drop id agree +1 on that idea

point 3 is pointless, unless you make it where you use 5 deg items on make it deg i (kept on death not in ur inv)

 

i like the idea but not really sure if i like the way you'd like to go about it.

Well guess what, that's not how I suggested it to work.

And considering we are on a private, customizable server, it doesn't have to break on death if we only want it to break after X amount of time, ticks, or hits.

I suppose you didn't play on NR v6-10, otherwise you wouldn't have made that comment because that's not "how it worked" back then, either.

Not sure how point 3 is pointless, considering that the "point" is to make an item sink so we avoid hundreds and thousands of the same items after only a half-year of gameplay (and maybe avoid an entire eco/server reset, again).

if the drop was 1 in 3k you wouldnt have that problem :P thats why its pointless

 

your taking it as a personal attack when its constructive criticism
