The point of this thread is to create more content for Wilderness & Donator Island, I will try to rewrite the Drop Table, without taking away from the bosses & certainly not make them all Loot Pinatas.

None of the drops listed below for any of the bosses are for sure, we would rewrite the entire drop table to fit our eco. These bosses are pulled from old NR's Databases. (the idea is to see if these bosses would be something you'd all like)

This has to be one of the best suggestion threads I've seen. Fully support all of the suggested adds. Hopefully upper staff do to.

looks good on the surface, but will do nothing after 2 weeks when the "new content" vibe wears off like every other wild update.

 

This update does nothing different then any other wild update has, except make the drops super OP. Which maybe worth the aggravation at first, and for a couple of weeks but it will die off and be just like every time gano is buffed. Solo players being BS'd or killed in by a team, no matter how profitable IT IS NOT FUN. People will make the same choice, just like EVERY other wildy update has seen. They will go back to camping the monsters they are right now, and then its just the people who make the wild an annoying adventure will just reap it, and the CC will just be arguments over it all day, just like gano, just like revs.

 

Outside of Wildy slayer, almost no 1 does wildy bossing (sure SOME do, but lets be honest, what % of players legit camp wild bosses?).

 

The ONLY way these bosses would be popular is if :

 

A. They can have their damage blocked by prayer, so we can not be no food/supplies vs max gear bridder and have a chance to survive (of course, no auto skull like every other monster cuz rn 3 iteming is not possible).

or

B. Put them below 20 wild so pkers have 2 tb to get a kill, cuz rn theres really no risk in killing pvmers (unless they got friends to come help), theres no way a team can log in on you, only 1 world + your almost auto targeted with some 1 if you are only 2 ppl in wild, fucking 5m Target tele in store lol??

 

 

Even with the overloaded asf drop table, the state of wild in 2020 is too aggravating for any new players to get into. Your ether a fan of pvp, and partake or you steer clear, and sadly pkers are a small % niche of rs community and the ones who are left don't make many friends outside their pk circles to encourage a "friendly community". These wildy npcs will just become kraken, Harambes, the MA2 trio bosses, the demi god bosses and even callisto, vet and ven. Even on real rs, safe spotting these are some of the best gp per hour, yet majority of people still won't do it even after announcing they will be fixing them and getting pets will become hard.

 

 

NO support, we don't need another pre rev cave nerf situation, that was 2 wildy level run and escape to make the best guaranteed gp per hour, and people chose to avoid it.

::die needs kbd before it needs anew npc ffs

These bosses were huge on old NR, Its the developers failure to not critique the combat system that has left the pvp community dry. Everything is accurate as fuck. You almost die just by getting whip smacked. These bosses won't be added any time soon, its more for a future reference. Im not looking at having them added ASAP to such a little player base, it would indeed become dead content and useless. Instead im gathering views and opinions for adding them in the future if the community does indeed grow, I will reintroduce the suggestion with a more thought out thread including an entire rewritten drop table. (the drop table used is from the old NR database when we were first writing these bosses into the game).

 

As for the DIE bosses, these bosses are an alternative money sink & a new incentive for people to donate. DIE is currently just an over cluster of random bosses that are already in the game, but just added onto one or two islands that makes it just more "accessible". You worry about nerfing wilderness bosses, but what happens when youre so accustomed to having every other boss on an island, that it sometimes feels like theres not "enough" bosses for everyone, because everyone is always on the islands camping bosses because its "safer". 

Either way this is a business, the objective is to lure in new and old players back with the hopes that clans will start returning. Will, only cares about how much he can get in donations. Adding familiar content to the game, will give people nostalgia.

I would say im friends with everyone not just the pker's, thats why i've been coming up with so many suggestions. Because I hear stories about how people "wish for the OLD NR" to comeback.

I appreciate the work you put into this thread. As of now we are planning a large content update including the World Boss, so this would take place of the inadequacy and wyrm.
