Default PvM after the recent combat changes - MEGATHREAD - Thursday 14th May, 2020, 07:40

As stated in update 13.1.5, we're on the look for how to balance the PvM aspect of the game with the new item bonuses vs. the unchanged bosses (including the fixing of our Max Hit and Accuracy formulas). This thread is now made in a response to allow the community to suggest boss mobs that are significantly increased in difficulty following this update.

Please drop boss names below and state the problems with it.

avatar of creation and destruction - hp is too high, too accurate in dmg out-put to player, In wilderness it is almost impossible to kill barely 1 kill per inventory of brews (divine doesnt even make much a difference on ldi anymore.)

scorpia - fucks you hard way too accurate

vet'ion - ????? wtf is happening 

cerberus - hp is too high, this fire sucks dick, unavoidable attacks

vorkath - hp is too high, this huge fire ball sucks dick, some spaces make you stop running and unable to click out of (resulting in being torched in 2 milliseconds by acid pool at ur feet)

kree-ara - does more damage to you, than you to it.

nomad - hp too high, very accurate

zulrah - got way longer, more supplies

lum ice fiends - ouch

hydra - got way longer, more supplies 

kraken - hurts

demonic gorillas - pretty much un-killable, dunno wtf they are doing, very overpowered attacks

best regards will adjust if i think of more.

That’s what this thread you guys are arguing on is for. He’s asking what bosses need to be nerfed. This thread isn’t for debating the slayer helm change it’s so we know what bosses we can fix to make it better for you guys

Abyssal sire - droprate remove the clue or dont have it at same drop rate as the unsired. allso fix the slayer bonus on task vs this monster.

Cerberus - To much hp for a really low droprate. hits to often and u burn down on ur supplies really really fast ( and yes im regarding for all us struggling ironmans out here with low supplies) 

Zulrah - to much effort for this right now.

Hydra - burns ur supplies to the ground straight away. allso to much hp with our item base.

Kree Arra - way to high defence you should be able to hit it more accuratly than u are.

bandos avatar - To much health for our Slayer helm nerf.

Nex - if u want to duo or solo it dont try it anymore... to much health for no slayer helm.

Scorpia ? no ty... burning ur supplies even in max mage bloodbarraging

luminasient ice fiend or whatever their name is. yes burns ur supplies for little reward.

plane freezer burns ur supplies for little reward.

nomad to much hp and burns ur supplies.

corp ouch without slayer helm. (allso fix drop rate for elixir)

vettion? just no no no ty... to high damage and without slayer helm this gonna be a bitch to kill.

Vorkath - to much hp.... takes to long to kill becouse u cant step attack during the poison spread.

bulwark - to much hp without slayer helm 

Hope devourer - to much hp without slayer helm

pheonix to much hp without slayer helm. 

slash bash to much hp without slayer helm.

Avatar of destruction/creation hits to high so you cant use the old method of ss with max str to out heal the damage taken. now it takes to long time to kill for a Very low Reward. The most time consuming npc in the game for literly no rewards.

Herb secondaries or actual more pots and yes ''NOTED'' to drop tables for bosses.

 

Slayer helm doesn't work on abyssal demon task vs - abyssal sire
Slayer helm doesn't work on vorkath with blue dragon task.
slayer helm doesn't work on cerberus with hellhound task.

Ok, This thread will be free of spam. Arham should not have to sift through 70 comments to find what bosses need to be nerfed. He is trying to help us fix pvm so please only post here your testing of pvm so he has an idea of what to fix and can find it quick. No need for slayer helm talks, +1's or agrees.

+1 Well stated. 
I'm spending double or triple the amount of time at certain bosses because of the amounts of HP. 
The slayer helm bonus helped with not having to burn as many supplies trying to do 1 boss run. 

Many people would grind out to get a slayer helm before attempting to farm or tackle some of these bosses because they knew without it, it would be extremely difficult.

Attack speed of Craw's bow is the same on all 3 attack styles.
