Sup!

 

This update focuses a handful of issues that impeded gameplay in a handful of areas. Also, should help contribute to the quality of life with PvP. Underlying changes have been made to the core pathing system which should effectively rid oddities of coming across impassable tiles or running through objects you shouldn't. Another issue addressed is the flow of special attacks within PvP. An issue has been identified which effectively caused damage from special attacks applied to a target to be delayed. This issue was, at first, simple to resolve on paper, but after it became a reoccurring issue I started to dig a little deeper. The issue only came up when you used a special attack on a target that had a lower pid than you. Overall, the quality of combat should be much better now that this annoyance is out of the way. Let's get onto the changes.

Today's updates are:

 

  • Fixed a bug causing players to become stuck at Cerberus.
  • Fixed a bug with interactions dealt from behind gates, walls and fences.
  • Special attacks with items such as Dragon claws, AGS, Korasi and Granite maul will no longer have an extending hit delay past their expected time.
  • Fixed a bug causing players to become stuck within the Lumbridge area.
  • Fixed an interaction within the Wilderness agility course that allowed players to pass through areas they shouldn't.
  • Fixed issues causing pathing issues within the Phoenix cave.
  • Fixed issues causing pathing and interaction problems within Pest Control.
  • Damage within The Nightmare is now buffed by 25% to allow smaller parties to thrive longer.
  • Fixed pathing with gates around the Wilderness.
  • Fixed interactions with objects around Mage Bank.
  • Improvements to the underlying pathing logic which should address a handful of bugs in areas not mentioned in this post.

 

Hopefully this should prove to make gameplay flow a lot better. Thanks again for all your support and time.

Nightmare damage boost is nice but, can it apply to the pillars as well? If you would solo it might take 30 minutes to kill the boss, even with a team of 5 in max it takes almost 15 minutes.
